On The Testing of Code
July 23, 2021Product Launch – To The Moon!!
September 3, 2021We all have groaned when we’ve had to submit a new web form for a new order or website registration. With new websites and apps coming out everyday, these forms won’t stop being a nuisance.
1Password has a fix for us. Known for logins and more secure information, it’s not as well known that you can create an Identity that you can auto-fill your information on these forms with. It’s a great way to bring your identity with you to whatever site or app you want to join. First, open 1Password and create an Identity.
After a quick minute to fill in all your data, you will be all set to use that in all the web forms you encounter.
Go to the next website you have to degrudgingly fill out your information. And simply call up 1Password to Autofill the form! It’s super easy and feels like you are cheating to enter all your information on the form.
And Viola, the form fields have been filled in for you!
But wait, there’s more! 1Password also has a Credit Card and Bank Account type! This comes in handy when you are filling in your payment information that you can’t seem to memorize.
Create a new Credit Card and/or Bank Account to use 1Password to fill in payment forms too! I’ve done this for testing accounts and they work great!
I’ve uses this many times to speed up my testing on forms and even used it for my real account info to get through online orders even quicker. I hope this can be part of your website tool belt too!
